We know choosing an early learning centre is one of the biggest decisions a family makes. If you have a question that is not answered here, we are always happy to talk.

Safe n Sound Clarkson provides long day care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. We offer three programs — Nursery (6 weeks to 2 years), Toddler (2 to 3 years) and Kindy (3 to 5 years) — all within a small, family-run centre in Clarkson WA.
-
Safe n Sound Clarkson is a small, family-run early learning centre that operates with reduced Kindy ratios of 1:8. Our size means every child is genuinely known by their educators, families receive personalised communication and learning is shaped around each individual child. Our World Readiness program prepares children for more than school — it builds the confidence, resilience and capability they need for life.
-
To enrol your child, contact us directly by phone or email or submit an enquiry through our website. Places are limited, so we encourage families to get in touch early to check availability. Our team will guide you through the full enrolment process from there.
-
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is an Australian Government subsidy that reduces the cost of approved early learning for eligible families. Most families qualify for some level of CCS. Eligibility is assessed through MyGov and Services Australia. Safe n Sound Clarkson is an approved CCS provider and our team is happy to help point you in the right direction.

Our day follows a warm, consistent rhythm from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Children move through morning learning experiences, outdoor play, fresh meals, rest time and afternoon activities — all guided by educators with intention and care. Routines are consistent so children feel secure, while remaining flexible enough to follow the children's energy and curiosity each day.
-
Yes. Fresh meals are prepared on site every day. We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Families do not need to send food unless their child has a specific dietary requirement. Our menu is seasonal, varied and guided by national healthy eating frameworks for early childhood.
-
Every child with a known allergy or dietary need has an individual health support plan developed in partnership with their family. All educators hold current first aid qualifications including anaphylaxis and asthma management training. Families are asked to share all relevant dietary information during the enrolment process so we can ensure their child is safely and appropriately catered for.
-
We approach settling in gradually and in genuine partnership with families. Before a child begins, we take time to understand their routines, preferences and cues. Families are encouraged to be involved in the settling process and we communicate openly throughout. No two children settle the same way and we always follow the child's lead.
-
World Readiness is our approach to preparing children for more than the first day of school. It focuses on building confidence, resilience, emotional intelligence and independence so children are ready to navigate friendships, challenges and new experiences across every stage of their life — not just a classroom. It is embedded across our Kindy program and shapes how our educators engage with children every day.
-
Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and shaped by our own philosophy of purposeful play and intentional educator practice. Learning is never accidental — educators thoughtfully design environments, extend children's thinking and recognise learning as it unfolds naturally through play, conversation and everyday experience.
-
Safe n Sound Clarkson operates under the Education and Care Services National Law and National Quality Standards. Active supervision is maintained across all indoor and outdoor environments at all times. The centre has secure access control, a documented authorised nominee system and all educators hold a current Working With Children Check. Individual health and safety plans are in place for any child with a medical or allergy-related need.
-
We believe in open, ongoing communication. Educators connect with families at drop-off and pick-up every day, sharing highlights, observations and anything relevant from the day.
We are always happy to talk. The best way to get a real feel for Safe n Sound Clarkson is to come and visit us in person.
